I am affected only by my thoughts.
With this lesson, it brings the affirmation that “it is only a thought and a thought can be changed.” The simplicity of this statement is the way to bring peace to my mind. I rule my mind and control all thoughts that enter in. I am responsible for those thoughts and what I then do with them. And so today, let each thought that comes into my mind be a thought of prayer. My thoughts are indeed prayers and so that it is true to say that I am always praying since my mind is always thinking.
Today I will be mindful of each thought and how it extends to not only my own experience but the experiences of my brothers here with me. What prayer do I want to share today? Will it be a prayer of love or a prayer of fear? I will choose love as my only prayer today for it is a prayer of higher consciousness, a prayer of the belief in my True Self and the Oneness that we share.
