I came for the salvation of the world.
Inside each and everyone of us is the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God wills for us to have happy, successful and fulfilling lives. But in order for that to happen we must become willing through daily prayer and meditation to ask Him to help us to do that. We must become willing to let go of our personal interests in the world and to ask Him Who sent us what His will is for us. We must let go of our ego desires for persons, places and things and allow God to work through us for the salvation of the world. Great leaders of our past and present remember to ask God to help them let go of all the things that would prevent them from experiencing themselves at their fullest while they walk the earth. In the times when we feel tempted to become attracted to something other than what God’s will is for us, Jesus gave us a prayer in the Text of A Course in Miracles on page 28 to respond with.
I am here only to be truly helpful. I am here to represent Him Who sent me. I do not have to worry about what to say or what to do for He Who sent me will direct me. I am content to be wherever He wishes knowing He goes there with me. I will be healed as I let Him teach me to heal.
