I rule my mind, which I alone must rule.
Just imagine if you could go through a day of complete acceptance of what the Holy Spirit brings to you. It would be a happy and peaceful day indeed. Imagine going through a day of non-judgment and relinquishment of all your ideas and plans and the way you think things should go. This would be a day of simple being and allowing to happen whatever it is that is supposed to happen. Being in this place of complete acceptance and openness allows the Holy Spirit an opportunity to reveal His presence to you.
As we practice having a completely open mind and surrendering all of our thoughts to the Holy Spirit, His Voice will be allowed to come forth and speak to us. That is the purpose for the practice of our meditation. The goal is to still our ego minds, to come to a place of complete stillness, a place where no thoughts or words are spoken within the mind, A place where we are open to receiving the miracle instead.
