My home awaits me. I will hasten there.
With today’s Lesson I am reminded that this world is not where to place my trust. There is no value in this world. With the ego, this world is ever-changing and always changeable. The ego desires conflict; it feeds on distraction. The ego does not want me to remember where my true Home is. For if I recognize it, the ego knows that its demise will be soon.
This is why the further distractions and attachments that seem to creep in and to take hold of us appear. We buy into it. We place an attachment to an outcome for a situation. It must be thus! And when it isn’t, we are sad and depressed. We weep each time one of these idols, these people or places, do not serve their function as we have placed upon them.
And then we are thrown into a cyclone of fear. But then as we are ready we remember. We remember that Home is where the heart is….. and that is with God.
