Heaven is the decision I must make.
There is an important point in today’s Lesson. “Truth cannot come where it could only be perceived with fear. For this world be the error truth can be brought to illusions. Opposition makes the truth unwelcome, and it cannot come.” It is not for me to cover my fears with thoughts of light and love. This is denial of the fear in a form that is not truly helpful to me. It is to be honest and authentic with the fear, and bring the fear to the Holy Spirit knowing that the truth is all that I want to remember. The decision for Heaven in these times is forgiveness of the illusions that I have made. In my decision, I am releasing all value I have placed on people, places, opinions, judgments, desires, the past, the future, the Course, everything. I am accepting the truth; the truth that Heaven is what I want, where I am, who I am. I no longer need to accept what I have made. It has truly never brought me happiness otherwise.
So, why not make the decision for Heaven today? Believing otherwise is hell. Holding any attachment to anyone, anything, any idea, any outcome is hell.
