God is the Love in which I forgive.
Excerpt from Lesson 46 from our book Journey Through the Workbook for Students: Divine Messages
Rev. Deb’s Message
In the stories that I have written for myself, either I am the guilty one or others from my past and present are guilty. I have condemned them and myself. With this Lesson, I learn that God has not condemned anyone for He knows only Love. It does not matter what scenes I have written in the script for myself or others, the scenes of anger, abuse, fear, depression, deceit and the like. What is only true is that God’s Love is there blessing me always. In the practicing today, I am releasing the chains that have bound me to guilt in myself and others. In using, “God is the Love in which I forgive you,” I am recognizing and affirming that through God there is only Love to see in all of us. Love does not attack nor condemn. It simply lifts me up to my rightful place in Heaven where I have always been. In these dark shadows of the stories I have made, I do not see the truth. I have hidden in the pain and anxiety thinking that it was the only way to live. It is not where I wish to live now. I remember that I only live in God. The mindfulness of forgiveness with anyone today continues to remove the barriers that keep me from Love. If Love is what I want, then it is Love that I will instill in my practice today. It is the practice of honesty with the thoughts in my mind about others or myself, then stopping and joining with the Holy Spirit to offer only Love to us all. In this, we are all blessed.
