“Father, You stand before me and behind, beside me, in the place I see myself, and everywhere I go. You are in all the things I look upon, the sounds I hear, and every hand that reaches for my own. In You time disappears, and place becomes a meaningless belief. For what surrounds Your Son and keeps him safe is Love itself. There is no source but this, and nothing is that does not share its holiness; that stands beyond Your one creation, or without the Love which holds all things within itself. Father, Your Son is like Yourself. We come to You in Your Own Name today, to be at peace within Your everlasting Love.”
No coincidences. That’s what I’ve found in my practice of A Course in Miracles. Though I’ve been displaced from my physical home by a violent thunderstorm which seems to have affected only a small area of the town I live in, I can never be displaced from my true home—the love of God within and all around me. Many dear friends have helped me during this time, and I am grateful to all of them. I am also grateful for this experience, though I freely admit that there are times when I feel depressed and even tearful. For the most part, however, I am content, for my loving guide dog is with me, I am warm, dry, and fed. So, I’m away at school for a few weeks, like a training program, and I have the opportunity to trust God and my brothers and sisters. Blessings.
