165 – Let not my mind deny the Thought of God.
I focused in on the words on this lesson today in my meditation.
- Let not MY mind deny the Thought of God.
- Let NOT my mind deny the Thought of God.
- Let not my mind DENY the Thought of God.
- Let not my mind deny the Thought of GOD.
The words resounded in my mind echoing and reechoing throughout.
Who would deny his safety and his peace, his joy, his healing and his peace of mind, his quiet rest, his calm awakening, if he but recognized where they abide?
How can I deny Heaven? How can I deny Christ’s power to heal? I can choose instead the eternal and everlasting Thought of God. The Thought of God is Love. Simply Love.
Yes, I can be swayed by the trauma and hatred as portrayed in the news, scan the Facebook posts, and be swept by the politics of it all. Yet, here I am. I can make a difference by not denying Heaven and thus denying my Creator and what He did create. God is with us no matter how challenging these days have been to everyone. I can practice in hope. I can rely on His Sureness and His Care. I can impress on my memory “His Love remains beyond our every fear.”
I gather all into the Light of Christ. May my heart be full of compassion, love and forgiveness this day.
166 – I am entrusted with the gifts of God.
Could any of my words really expand upon what is spoken in this lesson. In this time in our lives, these words become beacons for us. Shall we not draw upon the gift within so we can give it without?
…Your hand becomes the giver of Christ’s touch; your change of mind becomes the proof that who accepts God’s gifts can never suffer anything. You are entrusted with the world’s release from pain.
Betray it not. Become the living proof of what Christ’s touch can offer everyone. God has entrusted all His gifts to you. Be witness in your happiness to how transformed the mind becomes which chooses to accept His gifts, and feel the touch of Christ. Such is your mission now. For God entrusts the giving of His gifts to all who have received them. He has shared His joy with you. And now you go to share it with the world.
