“Heaven is the decision I must make.”
Practical application is the hallmark of MiraclesOne, and this morning I had a wonderful example of what that means.
After my morning meditation, I checked my email. I found a notice from Google that I was almost out of storage space. On following the link to my account, I found that most of my allotted storage was filled up with files I no longer use. Since I’m not the most savvy person when it comes to technology, my first reaction was to panic! What do I do now? I need email since I can’t read any print mail, etc. Then I participated in the daily lesson practice call, which calmed me considerably. I started putting the lesson into practice immediately, not asking for the situation to be changed, but rather that my mind be changed about it. At an appropriate time, I called my friend Jacob, who helps me with computer issues, asking him to call me on Monday. Then I settled down to read a book for an online class I’m taking. The phone rang about half an hour later. It was Jacob, telling me that he was five blocks away and could come to help. He doesn’t usually work on week-ends. Well, he came, he saw, and he conquered by deleting the unnecessary files. Problem solved.
As I said above, I didn’t ask for anything in the outer world to be changed, but rather that my perception of the situation reflect today’s lesson. I am very grateful that it did.
