Keys to this Lesson
Jesus sets out some parameters in knowing what is valuable and what is valueless.
As he says:
First, if you choose a thing that will not last forever, what you chose is valueless. A temporary value is without all value. Time can never take away a value that is real. What fades and dies was never there.
Why is a choice a value to it? What purpose does it have?
The ego deceives us.
If there is guilt, then you have chosen the ego’s goals.
Heaven is reached with empty hands and open minds.
Have nothing to claim everything.
This is what we will practice today.
2 Practice Periods, 15 minutes each.
I will not value what is valueless, and only what has value do I seek, for only that do I desire to find.
Throughout the day, if you believe you have burdens or difficult decisions to make, answer with this thought:
I will not value what is valueless, for what is valuable belongs to me.
