This lesson describes you as you are.
You are ONE!
Your perfect unity with God makes change in you impossible.
Look at how perfect you are!
You are in perfect harmony with all that is.
You are holy.
Jesus needs your help today to bring happiness to the world.
He tells us many times in this lesson:
Do not forget today.
Acknowledge Who you are today.
Exercise
First 5 minutes of every hour.
Practice today’s idea.
You still need discipline of the mind to not allow your mind to wander.
Keep to this schedule as it imposes firmer structure for you.
Do not use your lapses from this schedule as an excuse not to return to it again as soon as you can. There may be a temptation to just give up because you seemingly failed to do what you were supposed to do. Just do it when you remember!
This feeling of temptation to give up on the day is really:
A REFUSAL TO LET YOUR MISTAKE BE CORRECTED AND AN UNWILLINGNESS TO TRY AGAIN.
When you make a mistake and forget, it is just a mistake. It just needs to be corrected. You do not need to berate yourself. Just remember what you are to do.
Begin with:
I am one Self, united with my Creator, at one with every aspect of creation, and limitless in power and in peace.
Then close your eyes and tell yourself again, slowly and thoughtfully.
Allow these words to sink into your mind:
I am one Self.
Repeat several times and then feel the meaning.
Frequent, shorter practices throughout the day.
You need to be reminded of your purpose frequently because you forget.
Your acknowledgement of Who you are, united with God is a call to join with everyone in the world.
To everyone you meet today in your mind tell them this:
You are one Self with me, united with our Creator in this Self. I honor you because of What I am, and What He is, Who loves us both as One.
