LESSON 106-Let me be still and listen to the truth.

Keys to this Lesson

In the first paragraph Jesus shares with beauty what this lesson is all about:
If you will lay aside the ego’s voice, however loudly it may seem to call; if you will not accept its petty gifts that give you nothing that you really want; if you will listen with an open mind, that has not told you what salvation is; then you will hear the mighty Voice of truth, quiet in power, strong in stillness, and completely certain in Its messages.

Today it is simple.
Be still and listen.
Jesus says this many times in this lesson and it is our hint to do as he has asked us.
Go past all of the distractions in your mind and be still and listen to what the Holy Spirit has to say to you today.

5 minutes an hour
Begin with:
I will be still and listen to the truth.
What does it mean to give and to receive?

Ask and expect an answer.
Your answer may come with a sense of peace or feeling of love.

With each 5 minutes we spend today, Jesus tells us that a thousand minds are opened to the truth.

Do not forget today to reinforce your choice to hear Holy Spirit, say this as often as possible today:

Let me be still and listen to the truth.
I am the messenger of God today, My voice is His, to give what I receive.

Since you’re here… …we have a small favor to ask. More people are reading our posts, listening to our audios and watching our videos than ever before but far fewer are donating for it. As an all-volunteer ministry, you can see why we need to ask for your help. MiraclesOne provides ACIM resources freely however it takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe in encouraging others to practically apply the Course principles in their lives – because it might just make the one difference in your life. If everyone who reads, listens or watches and likes what we offer helps to pay for it we can continue to afford our expenses and keep our resources FREE to all ACIM Students. Monthly Donors receive free gifts in appreciation for their support.
