Keys to this Lesson
Today we continue with HAPPINESS!
This is a key idea that Jesus tells us, as it will help us to understand what salvation means.
We do not have to suffer for our mistakes or so-called “sins”.
If sin is real then happiness is an illusion for they both cannot be true.
Sinful only warrant death and pain and punishment.
But that is not WHO you are.
God’s Will for you is perfect happiness because there is no sin.
Joy is just and pain is the sign that you have misunderstood Who you are.
So today we are going to remember Who we are and this is why we need the practice periods today.
We need to know that sin is not real and that we need to accept the Atonement with an open mind.
Exercise
5 minutes an hour.
Say:
God’s Will for me is perfect happiness.
There is no sin; it has no consequence.
Attempt to find the joy that these thoughts introduce to your mind.
Give this time gladly to remove the heavy load that you have laid upon yourself in the belief that sin is real.
Today you escape from madness.
You are on freedom’s road.
Remember as often as you can today:
God’s Will for me is perfect happiness.
This is the truth, because there is no sin.
