“You are entitled to miracles because of what you are. You will receive miracles because of what God is. And you will offer miracles because you are one with God. Again, how simple is salvation! It is merely a statement of your true Identity. It is this that we will celebrate today.”
When I can see a dark situation or person with love, that, to me, is a miracle. It is a change of perspective, the understanding that what I first experienced as fear can be experienced with love. It is accepting the grace of God with gratitude. It is not burying my head in the sand and ignoring the darkness; it is looking steadily at the darkness without accepting it as the truth.
“A miracle is a correction. It does not create, nor really change at all. It merely looks on devastation, and reminds the mind that what it sees is false. It undoes error, but does not attempt to go beyond perception, nor exceed the function of forgiveness. Thus it stays within time’s limits. Yet it paves the way for the return of timelessness and love’s awakening, for fear must slip away under the gentle remedy it brings.”
