“I will follow it where it leads me, and I will look only on what it shows me. This day I will experience the peace of true perception.”
An inspired prayer for today in this lesson. I will follow the light and where it leads me. LIGHT shall be my guide today. What more can I ask for in the remembrance of this. I will reinforce it each time I practice today. As I affirm the forms of the idea as suggested, I can step aside from the clouds that enter my mind and hide the light of God. Those clouds could be anything at all, even if ever so slightly or grandiose. If I think of or meet with someone today and that interaction is met with conflict, once again ever so slightly, I can affirm in my mind this person stands in the light with me. Even those I see in news stories, I can see them standing in the light with me. In the light I will see this story differently. I will remember love is always the answer.
God’s will is for me to experience joy. When I realize there is no will but His, I will experience it, simple as that. I don’t experience joy if I am scheming to get my own will and my own plans to occur. My own plans attack my will with God’s. When I trust and have faith, I can experience a sense of calm and a sense of safety. In calmness, the worries and concerns melt away. And, yes, a sense of joy. To me, a sense of joy is freedom, or vice versa or one in the same. That’s what comes to me as I write this. And, right now that brings me peace.
