Keys to this Lesson
Miracles and vision go together.
This NEEDS to be repeated frequently.
The miracle is ALWAYS there.
If we do not see it, it is because we do not have the AWARENESS of the miracle.
Light is crucial.
In darkness we cannot see and so we do not see the miracle.
If we don’t see it, for some reason we do not believe that it is there.
We need to reverse our faith in the darkness to that of the light.
When we realize our support in light, all of our doubts will vanish.
We must devote ourselves to feeling God’s strength within us today.
Take 10 minutes, 3 times today for quiet time.
Longer practice periods
Miracles are seen in light.
The body’s eyes do not perceive the light.
But I am not a body. What am I?
The question at the end is our focus for this practice.
If you are not a body, what are you?
What does the Holy Spirit use to replace the image of your body in your mind?
If I am not a body, what am I?
Devote several minutes to allowing your mistaken thoughts about yourself to be corrected by their opposites.
Say, for example:
I am not weak, but strong.
I am not helpless, but all powerful.
I am not limited, but unlimited.
I am not doubtful, but certain.
I am not an illusion, but a reality.
I cannot see in darkness, but in light.
In the second phase of practice, try to experience the truths about yourself.
Concentrate on the experience of strength.
Relax for the rest of the practice period in confidence that your efforts are supported by God’s strength.
We are united in strength.
5-6 times an hour at regular intervals.
Remind yourself that miracles are seen in light.
Also use this if you are tempted to think otherwise:
Miracles are seen in light. Let me not close my eyes because of this.
