Key Thoughts
(69) My grievances hide the light of the world in me.
I must lay grievances aside! It’s that simple!
Applying the idea:
Let me not use this as a block to sight.
The light of the world will shine all this away.
I have no need for this. I want to see.
Lesson (70) My salvation comes from me.
My Source of salvation is within me.
There is no need to search as I have everything that I need.
Applying the idea:
Let this not tempt me to look away from me for my salvation.
I will not let this interfere with my awareness of the Source of my salvation.
This has no power to remove salvation from me.
Review II
2 lessons a day.
The first part of the day is devoted to one, and the latter part of the day to the second lesson.
One longer exercise period and frequent shorter practices.
Longer Practice Periods
15 minutes.
Think about the ideas (both) for the day and the comments that are included.
Devote 3-4 minutes to reading them slowly, several times if possible and then close your eyes and listen.
If you find your mind wandering, repeat the above.
Spend a majority though of the 15 minutes to listening quietly but attentively.
There is a message waiting for you.
Be confident that you will receive it.
Remember that it belongs to you and you want it.
If you have distracting thoughts that appear, remember that they have no meaning or power.
Replace these thoughts with your determination to succeed.
Trust that you will succeed.
Be determined.
