Keys to this Lesson
Today you recognize what you are.
Love.
This is why you are the light of the world, why you are the savior.
You will make great effort today to reach this truth about you if only for a moment that you realize that this is in fact true.
You are like Love. You ARE Love.
Exercise
Longer practice period is 10-15 minutes.
Think about your reality and that your reality cannot be changed.
First repeat:
Love created me like itself.
Then add relevant thoughts such as:
Holiness created me holy.
Kindness created me kind.
Helpfulness created me helpful.
Perfection created me perfect.
Use any attribute as God would define Himself.
The purpose of this practice is to replace how you have defined God up until this point to what God’s Definition really is.
And if we are replacing God’s Definition, we are replacing what we have thought of ourselves as well since we are a definition of God.
After several related thoughts, drop all thoughts and then move past all the images and preconceptions and beliefs you hold about yourself.
You are approaching the truth about you.
Jesus tells us that:
If love created you like itself, this Self must be in you. And somewhere in your mind It is there for you to find.
Use today’s idea to replace any distracting thoughts that come into your mind.
You may need to use relevant thoughts as well if you find that you are still not coming to the place of the truth about yourself.
Be confident today that you are coming closer to this awareness whether or not you believe that you have succeeded or fail.
You in fact have succeeded.
Practice as often as you can today.
You need to hear the truth about yourself repeatedly.
Jesus suggests 4-5 times an hour or even more.
Remind yourself that LOVE created you like itself.
This is the truth, hear and listen to it.
Realize in the shorter practice periods that this is not the ego telling you this.
This is the Holy Spirit reminding you of your Father and your Self.
The Voice of the Holy Spirit replaces the ego’s voice.
