I have never heard an audible voice, but I have felt deep peace, sometimes in the most unlikely places and situations. When traveling to work on the bus, I have felt it. When on the edge of consciousness, either waking or going to sleep, I have felt it. While listening to music (and not necessarily sacred music), I have felt it. At such times, I simply say, “Thank You.” That’s all I need to do.
“Try to identify with the part of your mind where stillness and peace reign forever. Try to hear God’s Voice call to you lovingly, reminding you that your Creator has not forgotten His Son.”
