My physical eyes do not function, and haven’t since I entered this part of the dream; however, I have experienced what light is, and once I saw the kind of light Jesus is speaking of in this lesson. I was at an Edgar Cayce healing meeting. People would stand in the center of the circle, and we would send love to them. When one person entered the circle, the room was suddenly filled with light. It was as bright as sunlight, but deeper somehow, and when I turned my head, it was just as bright, so that it was everywhere, not just in one place. I felt calm and deeply grateful. When meditating, I sometimes see flickers of light, and even what I call waves of it. It is very reassuring and not frightening. I am grateful that it comes, and I know it’s always there; I must simply allow it to come.
“In order to see, you must recognize that light is within, not without. You do not see outside yourself, nor is the equipment for seeing outside you. An essential part of this equipment is the light that makes seeing possible. It is with you always, making vision possible in every circumstance.”
