So what does it mean to be holy? It isn’t what I used to think–set apart, superior, unattainable, even frightening. In Course terms, it means–guiltless. Who I really am is part of God’s One Creation, not set apart, superior, and the rest. We are all, in our reality, loving, innocent, joyous beings. I certainly don’t always see that. I still let the ego define who I am most of the time, but the holy instants do come when I allow them, and they are simple, calm, and clear.
” Today’s idea does not describe the way you see yourself now. It does, however, describe what vision will show you. It is difficult for anyone who thinks he is in this world to believe this of himself. Yet the reason he thinks he is in this world is because he does not believe it.”
