As with the last lesson, we are not thinking with God on a regular basis so we do not choose to love on a regular basis. As Jesus tells us, we need forgiveness in this world because this world is made on the premise of fear and in truth does not exist. In God, there is not a speck of condemnation. That’s why he reminds us that “Fear condemns and love forgives.” This reminds me of a practice that my husband used a few years back. He wanted to change his mind when complaints appeared no matter how large or small, so he meets the complaint with “That’s Great!”. He sends it love and they he does not become tangled in the ego’s web.
How simply we can experience love and forgiveness by stopping our thoughts immediately just as Rev. Paul and I do. “God is the Love in which I forgive you…in which I forgive myself….” And in this we know the blessing of Love that we are.
Namaste,
Rev. Deb

Since you’re here… …we have a small favor to ask. More people are reading our posts, listening to our audios and watching our videos than ever before but far fewer are donating for it. As an all-volunteer ministry, you can see why we need to ask for your help. MiraclesOne provides ACIM resources freely however it takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe in encouraging others to practically apply the Course principles in their lives – because it might just make the one difference in your life. If everyone who reads, listens or watches and likes what we offer helps to pay for it we can continue to afford our expenses and keep our resources FREE to all ACIM Students. Monthly Donors receive free gifts in appreciation for their support.
