I mentioned in an earlier post that I love to write stories. For years I wrote them without thinking about what I wrote, just for fun. Then, one day, I realized that I wanted to write to express love, not fear. So that’s what I’ve been doing, asking the Holy Spirit to guide me when I write.
What does this have to do with today’s lesson? Well, I’ve been writing a fear-invoking tale–the tale of my life. Now, I want to allow my divine editor to help me change the story, so that, as we heard in Lesson 29, I can look on the world with love and appreciation, letting the dark images go. It’s not always easy to do this, but, as we go forward in the lessons, we will be told how.
“Today we are continuing to develop the theme of cause and effect. You are not the victim of the world you see because you invented it. You can give it up as easily as you made it up. You will see it or not see it, as you wish. While you want it you will see it; when you no longer want it, it will not be there for you to see.”
