Lesson 40 – I am blessed as a Son of God.

Keys to this Lesson
And
Exercise

Short Lesson today but packed with practice.
Jesus shares with us that we are beginning to assert our entitlement to happiness.
Why?
Because of Who we are!

No long practice periods, but very frequent short ones today.
Every 10 minutes.
Attempt this schedule, try to keep the schedule.
If you forget, just try again.
Long interruptions? Try again.
Whenever you remember, try again.

Not necessary to close your eyes although you can if you would like to do so.
Jesus says that we may find it more helpful if we do.
There may be situations though today where it may be impossible.
He warns us not to miss a practice period just because we cannot close our eyes.
An interesting line he says here:
You can practice quite well under any circumstances….and here’s the kicker….if you really want to.

Repeat idea for today.
Add several attributes you associate with being a Son of God.
You are applying these attributes to yourself.

Examples:

I am blessed as a Son of God.
I am happy, peaceful, loving and contented.

I am blessed as a Son of God.
I am calm, quiet, assured and confident.

If you only have a moment to practice, just tell yourself:
I am blessed as a Son of God.

Since you’re here… …we have a small favor to ask. More people are reading our posts, listening to our audios and watching our videos than ever before but far fewer are donating for it. As an all-volunteer ministry, you can see why we need to ask for your help. MiraclesOne provides ACIM resources freely however it takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe in encouraging others to practically apply the Course principles in their lives – because it might just make the one difference in your life. If everyone who reads, listens or watches and likes what we offer helps to pay for it we can continue to afford our expenses and keep our resources FREE to all ACIM Students. Monthly Donors receive free gifts in appreciation for their support.
