Hi everyone,

We had a lot of people call in today for our daily Workbook lesson reading.  Ryan did a fabulous job of reading the Introduction to the WB as well as Lesson 1.  Thanks so much, Ryan!

As I practiced Lesson 1 today, I immediately realized how “addicted” I am to understanding the lesson as I apply it.  I want to be at peace so badly that I find myself getting impatient.  It’s as though this need to do it perfectly takes over, this indescribable compulsion toward perfectionism.

Alas, that is what kept me from ever completing the lessons without doing them with a group and being held accountable too.  The ministerial program offered this level of accountability as every Monday morning for several years, we gathered together, Rev. Deb and the students, to discuss the previous week’s lessons/Text/Manual assignments, etc.

Given the plethora of offerings MO provides, no one has to do what I did.  We are all here to help one another and remember, most importantly, that the Holy Spirit or Jesus undoes, we don’t do it, we don’t have to strive for perfectionism, we just have a little willingness to practice and allow our lives to be transformed.  We do NOT do the transforming, He does.

Important point to ponder and always remember, please.

We are with you.

Much love,

Gayle

Since you’re here… …we have a small favor to ask. More people are reading our posts, listening to our audios and watching our videos than ever before but far fewer are donating for it. As an all-volunteer ministry, you can see why we need to ask for your help. MiraclesOne provides ACIM resources freely however it takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe in encouraging others to practically apply the Course principles in their lives – because it might just make the one difference in your life. If everyone who reads, listens or watches and likes what we offer helps to pay for it we can continue to afford our expenses and keep our resources FREE to all ACIM Students. Monthly Donors receive free gifts in appreciation for their support.
