Thoughts on Lesson 15
I think I think my thoughts and I think I see them. A little sci-fi, eh? This is what we are learning in today’s lesson. We are making images to cover up the Light of God.
Once again, think the movie “The Matrix” here when practicing this lesson. If you have never seen the movie, take some time to watch it and you will see how it is related to our lessons in A Course in Miracles.
In practicing, we are repeating the idea and applying it to whatever we see surrounding us. I’m applying it to my cold and my sore throat and husky voice. All are still an image that I have made.
One of the questions or comments I receive regarding this lesson is “What if I do not experience the light episodes, does this mean I have failed the Course?” The answer is “no” you have not failed. Do not be focused on having light episodes, instead focus on what the suggested practice is. When it is time the light episodes will appear or not. Do not ascribe meaning if you do not see them.
The lessons are preparing us each in their own way. Simply, have faith and move forward. Don’t dwell on what is not occurring or what is, for that matter. As I have been saying for some time, take each lesson as it is one
If we could do the lessons perfectly, we would have no need for them!
P.S. Listen to my Living the Lessons podcast episode for this lesson as I expanded a little more on what I wrote here. See link below.
Namaste,
Rev. Deb

Since you’re here… …we have a small favor to ask. More people are reading our posts, listening to our audios and watching our videos than ever before but far fewer are donating for it. As an all-volunteer ministry, you can see why we need to ask for your help. MiraclesOne provides ACIM resources freely however it takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe in encouraging others to practically apply the Course principles in their lives – because it might just make the one difference in your life. If everyone who reads, listens or watches and likes what we offer helps to pay for it we can continue to afford our expenses and keep our resources FREE to all ACIM Students. Monthly Donors receive free gifts in appreciation for their support.
