Lesson 14
It may seem odd to say, “God did not create cancer” or “God did not create that airplane crash.” Especially today as I practice with being ill with a horrible cold and sore throat. I must watch that descriptive word “horrible” as it is a judgment, right? It really is meaningless!
Trust is needed for what Jesus shares with us in this lesson. God did not create this world as we see it. It is not our real Home. It takes a lot of faith to practice this lesson. Do so in faith and you will be led to peace.
We use everything around us, the government shutdown, the friend of my sister who died from Multiple Sclerosis (My sister also has MS), anything and everything is fair game and we do so specifically.
On one level we do experience these situations. As we let go more and more we will see God in everything. It may seem fearful in some of the responses you use for today’s practice, “God did not create my father’s death,” for example, yet this is all for the healing of our mind. We will learn how to deal with these situations from a place of love and peace all the while knowing what is True and Real.
P.S. Listen to my Living the Lessons podcast episode for this lesson as I expanded a little more on what I wrote here. See link below.
Peace,
Rev. Deb

Since you’re here… …we have a small favor to ask. More people are reading our posts, listening to our audios and watching our videos than ever before but far fewer are donating for it. As an all-volunteer ministry, you can see why we need to ask for your help. MiraclesOne provides ACIM resources freely however it takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe in encouraging others to practically apply the Course principles in their lives – because it might just make the one difference in your life. If everyone who reads, listens or watches and likes what we offer helps to pay for it we can continue to afford our expenses and keep our resources FREE to all ACIM Students. Monthly Donors receive free gifts in appreciation for their support.
