Keys to this Lesson
More Cause and Effect with today’s lesson.
We are not THE victim of the world we see because we made it up!
We invented it!
And because we made it up, we can give it up just as easily!
Jesus says, we will see it or not as we wish.
Do I want to still see it?
That’s the question to ask ourselves.
This lesson applies to both our inner and outer worlds and we have learned previously that they are one in the same.
Yet, we still see the inner and outer worlds as different.
The practices today will involve both.
2, 3-5 minute Practice Periods, morning and evening.
No less than 3 minutes for this practice.
If you find this exercise restful, Jesus suggests that we can go on longer than 5 minutes.
Be sure to practice in a quiet spot where few distractions will occur.
Repeat the idea 2-3 times while looking around at the world outside of you.
Close your eyes and look at your inner world.
Treat them both equally.
Repeat the idea slowly as often as you wish.
Continue the idea throughout the day as often as possible.
These applications are:
Repeat the idea slowly as you survey either the inner or outer world.
It does not matter which one you decide to use.
The idea for today can also be used immediately to any situation that upsets you in this form:
I have invented this situation as I see it.
Since you’re here… …we have a small favor to ask. More people are reading our posts, listening to our audios and watching our videos than ever before but far fewer are donating for it. As an all-volunteer ministry, you can see why we need to ask for your help. MiraclesOne provides ACIM resources freely however it takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe in encouraging others to practically apply the Course principles in their lives – because it might just make the one difference in your life. If everyone who reads, listens or watches and likes what we offer helps to pay for it we can continue to afford our expenses and keep our resources FREE to all ACIM Students. Monthly Donors receive free gifts in appreciation for their support.
